"So raise your hands to heaven
And pray...
That we'll be back together
Someday..." -Hands to Heaven, Lifehouse
Dad and I watched Spiderman 2. Man, gotta love the movie. Doc Ock was awesome, the effects and animatronics were amazing. Although there was a lot of unnecessary screaming and shrieking, and a couple of loose ends in the movie...it was kewl nonetheless.
Hmm...some parts reminded me of certain people... I did a little comparison, hehe... Dyou see the resemblance?
...
Mary Jane: *looks at Peter* "Please go away...I can't keep thinking about you! It hurts too much..."
Peter: *falls silent* *walks away*
Me: "You won't admit it, but I know its true... You'd rather have me out of your life, right? You think it would have been better if you hadn't met me in the first place... Coz all I give you is sadness, confusion, and guilt..."
Her: "..."
...
Mary Jane: "Do you love me..?" *looks Peter in the eye*
Peter: *pauses for a long while* "No..."
Me: "Do I have hope..?"
Her: *closes eyes* "No..."
...
Doc Ock: *stares at ruins* "She's dead...she's dead..." *closes eyes* "My dream is dead..."
Me: *cries into pillow* "He's dead...he's dead... Oh, God its all my fault... He's dead...And I'm dead too..."
...
Peter: *looks at Mary Jane* "See...this is why we can't be together... I can't put you in danger... If something bad happened to you, I'd never forgive myself..."
Mary Jane: "I know there will be risks, but I want to take them with you..." *smiles*
Him: "...would you take that chance..." *looks up at me* "With a guy like me?"
...
I didn't know why, but when the movie ended... I smiled. I usually hated endings - happy or sad, I hated endings. But as I was being led outside the movie house by my dad, with the ending theme playing in the background...I was smiling broadly. I didn't know why. It was like...I was given hope once again. I was free...

...
She was crouched in the middle of an empty void, hugging her knees. She was sobbing softly, her long dark hair eerily draped around her.
...she was just a child...
But then, she stopped crying, and slowly looked up. The clouds parted, and a ray of light shone through. The sun dried her tears, and warmed the earth around her. She closed her eyes and smiled softly. She stood up.
The sky brightened. The sun illuminated everything... Grass and trees started to grow arond her. She tilted her face upward to the heavens. She smiled...and the sky smiled with her.
She spread her arms wide open. And with her eyes closed, she started to turn. She was softly singing a sweet melody under her breath, as she slowly twirled around.
Wind blew a gentle breeze through the trees, and ran his fingers through her ebony hair and ivory dress. The air was caressed with her tinkling laughter.
Just then, raindrops started to fall from the sky. They landed on her face, her smiling lips, her open arms, and long white dress. As the rain fell in thin sheets around her, she slowly opend her eyes once more.
The falling water droplets formed the shape of a man - a magnificent angel - with bluish-silver hair complimenting his cyan robes, and a pair of crystal azure wings were on his back. He looked upon her with loving eyes, and slowly pulled the wet hair away from her face.
He gently took her hands and danced with her.
She laughed, and twirled around with him in the middle of the forest clearing, the gentle rain forming a soft curtain around her.
...
And I could only look on, as Rain let go of her... He watched her as she danced alone...a smile on her face, and her hands to heaven.
...she was free.
